In this section, the author talks about the purpose and significance behind audiences viewing content on YouTube. For example, many people use YouTube as a means to rewatch old music videos or television shows that no longer air on different platforms. This serves as a way for people to look back on media from many years ago.

As time has progressed, Youtube has not only localized its content, but has also globalized it. As stated in the text, "Content was customized for location, returning search results that were deemed more 'relevant' to the user based on their geographic location, as well as providing country-specific video rankings and comments." This has enabled audiences to watch content of all types regardless of location.
Technology is constantly developing and evolving as the years go on. In today's society, we have the luxury of being able to stream content from across the world. This enables platforms such as YouTube to stream its content and reach audiences everywhere. YouTube is a platform in which content creators are able to share their passions and talents with a wide audience. As directly stated in chapter 5 of YouTube's Cultural Politics, "the inclusiveness and openness of the YouTube's promise that 'anyone' can participate is also fundamental to its distinctive commercial value proposition." In other words, YouTube is a space that allows people to come together and learn about others' interests and cultures.
Additionally, it states that "Youtube remains a potential enabler and amplifier of cosmopolitan cultural citizenship." It is somewhere in which individuals have the freedom to express themselves and their respective identities. This allows for audiences to be cultured and informed. The author of the diversity and cultural citizenship section puts emphasis on the significance of allowing people to express their thoughts and views with others so that in return, they enhance their knowledge. Throughout history, the way we receive news has gone through drastic changes. However, one thing that remains the same is that people have always relied on external sources to acquire news and other information. Whether that source be a newspaper or live broadcasting, people rely on these sources to keep themselves informed about what is going on in the world. As a result of certain sources establishing themselves and maintaining a reputable social media presence, people will believe what they put out simply because they have a reputation of being reliable. While most times news sources only release accurate information, this is not always the case. However, audiences are so accustomed to believing these sources that they will tend to blindly follow whatever the news is advising or telling them to do.
Social media shapes identity in a multitude of ways. Simply owning a social media account gives a person an online presence which in itself can be considered an alternative identity. Additionally, people will make preconceived notions about a person or brand based on their social media posts, which can build their identity and can alter one's perception of it.
After reflecting on my original table of contents and creating my revised magazine cover, I decided that my revised table of contents should also reflect the changes made through the revised magazine cover. To make this change, I made my revised table of contents have more contrasting colors instead of being monochrome.
Before magazines started to gain more of an online presence, I used to enjoy going to the store as a young girl and purchasing physical copies of teen celebrity magazines. However, as technology and the print media has become more developed, magazines have turned digital. While I did enjoy going to pick up a physical copy of my favorite magazines, no one can deny the convenience of digital content. This has changed the print media industry entirely, and it has evolved to cater to today's generations, who prefer the internet as their primary source of content viewing and receiving.
1. Setting: Setting is an essential to Mise en Scene due to the fact that this is where the characters' moods and feelings are revealed to the audience.

Lighting: Lighting is a significant element because it depicts contrasting moods throughout a scene or film. 4. Depth of Space: Depth of space is important to keep in mind in terms of mise en scene due to the fact that it deals with the different camera angles and shots utilized throughout a scene. 5. Costumes and Makeup: The costumes and makeup used on a character define their individuality, this allows the audience to depict their personality through physical traits. I integrated technology in a variety of ways for this project. Firstly, I used my online blog to post media and other digital materials for my Magazine. Additionally, I used multiple forms of editing software to actually create my magazine cover. Overall, the majority of my project was reliant on technology and it was integrated immensely in my work.
